This study aimed to reveal the positive and negative repercussions of playing electronic games on primary school children from the viewpoint of mothers, and clarify the role of mothers of primary school children in dealing with the implications of playing electronic games on their children, and to achieve these goals, the study used the descriptive approach, through a questionnaire It was applied to (227) mothers, and the study reached several results, the most important of which are: that children's practice of electronic games enhances the excitement of the spirit of competition between children, as emotions are usually accompanied by moments of joy (win) and moments of anger (loss), which reduces children control their emotions, and the results of the study also showed that children playing electronic games for long periods of time caused them to cause health damages such as poor eyesight and loss of appetite, and the results also showed that mothers are keen to educate their children about the dangers of playing electronic games, but they do not find enough time in the participation of their children In electronic games, and that employed mothers are more aware of the negative effects of electronic games on their children, and there are no statistically significant differences between responses of mothers of primary school children according to the variable of marital status, qualification, and number of children.
