The study aimed to identify the theoretical frameworks for competitiveness, and to identify the concept of technical industrial secondary education, the five-year system, and its importance, objectives and philosophy. Years, where the researcher applied the questionnaire to a sample of (300) teachers, principals and mentors. The field study tool consists of seven axes, with a total of (75) items. The field study aims to identify the reality of industrial technical secondary education, the five-year system, in light of the requirements of competitiveness. The results resulted in some obstacles that prevent the development of technical industrial secondary education in the five-year system, most notably the lack of linkage between its objectives, study programs and field applications, which resulted in a great schizophrenia between it and the requirements of the field of work.
