The sample of the study consisted of 30 male and female children whose ages ranged from 5 to 6 years. The researcher adopted a semi-experimental one-group design with two measurements, pre- and post-measurement, of the sample in a way appropriate for the variables addressed in this study -namely, the experimental variable which is photographed folklore stories and the dependent variable which is oral storytelling skills of kindergarten child. This was conducted to investigate the effect of the experimental variable on the dependent one. Instrument of the study: 1) photographed folklore stories. 2) A story analysis form (prepared by Dr. Kamal El Din Hussein). 3) A list of oral storytelling skills needed for a kindergarten child. 4) An observation card of oral storytelling skills for a kindergarten child. 5) A teacher's guide for using folklore photographed stories in developing some oral storytelling skills for the kindergarten child. 6) Photographed folklore stories arbitration form. Results: there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores in the pre-post measurements on the observation card of oral storytelling skills in favor of the post-measurement. Effect size values, in this regard, were great, which indicates that the use of photographed folklore stories had a great effect on developing kindergarten child's oral storytelling skills.
