The research aimed to determine the appropriate programming skills for gifted kindergarten children according to the scratch program for teaching programming skills, teaching programming skills to gifted kindergarten children using the scratch program, ensuring the effectiveness of the scratch program in teaching programming skills to gifted kindergarten children, and verifying the effectiveness of the scratch program in developing the habits of mind for kindergarten children. The research tools consisted of: 1) the scratch program skills form that corresponds to teaching programming for gifted kindergarten children. 2) A note card for programming skills for gifted kindergarten children. 3) The mind habits scale for gifted kindergarten children. 4) The gifted kindergarten children’s discovery scale. The results were explained research the effectiveness of the scratch program in teaching programming and developing the habits of mind among gifted kindergarten children. The gifted kindergarten children were greatly affected by the program, which can be generalized using the program and its results on the same age-stage characteristics of the sample used in the research.
