This study aims in identifying the bird and animal stories in the Qur’an that appropriate to the characteristics of kindergarten development mentally and linguistically. The study also aims to determine the religious concepts that driven from the Qur’an and to knowing the effectiveness of conducting the puppet theater shadow fiction to simplifying and presenting the stories of bird and animal in the Qur’an to a kindergarten child. To do this, the researchers have chosen 60 children from second level distributed into two groups, one is control group, and the other is experimental one. The researchers prepare a number of instruments such as a list of criteria that allowing to simplifying the stories of bird and animal in the Qur’an to a kindergarten child. A cognitive test about the context of these stories in determining the effectiveness of conducting the puppet theater shadow fiction to simplifying and presenting the stories of bird and animal in the Qur’an to a kindergarten child. And testing the religious concepts that driven from the Qur’an. The study reveals that: 1) there is effectiveness of conducting the puppet theater shadow fiction to simplifying and presenting the stories of bird and animal in the Qur’an to a kindergarten child. 2) There is effectiveness of conducting the puppet theater shadow fiction in developing the religious concepts that driven from presenting the stories of bird and animal in the Qur’an to a kindergarten child.
