The study aimed to reveal the effect of an adaptive learning environment on developing some horticulture skills for female students with mental disabilities at high school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The descriptive approach and the experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design were used for this purpose, and the study tool was the observation card to measure the horticultural skills of people with disabilities. For the purposes of the study, the sample was divided into two groups, one control and the other experimental, with (6) students per group. The results showed significant differences at the function level (.0.0) on the observation card in the post application in favor of the experimental group in horticulture skills. The study also concluded that the adaptive learning environment is an effective tool in the education and training of people with intellectual disabilities, and the necessity of employing it to develop various other skills for this category.
