The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of an online cognitive behavioral counseling program in improving self-efficacy for high school students. The sample consisted of (03) female students at Al Nairyah District reporting low levels of self-efficacy selected after administrating self-efficacy scale on a convenient sample consisted of (013) female students. The sample was assigned into two homogeneity and equated groups: experimental group, and control group. The study instruments consisted of self-efficacy scale developed by Abduallah and Al-Aqad (8332), and a cognitive-behavioral counseling program to improve self-efficacy developed by the researchers, consisting of (13) counseling sessions administrated remotely over (3) weeks. The results revealed no statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in self-efficacy post-test scores. And there were no statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant differences between post-test and follow-up test for the experimental group scores, in favor of the post test. Summly, the online cognitive-behavioral counseling program was nor effective in improving self-efficacy for high school students. The study recommended that when applying online counseling, trainees with low self-efficacy should be trained first to use the required technical means. (Published abstract)
