إختيار القيادات الجامعية في الجامعات الحكومية بجمهورية مصر العربية بين الواقع والمأمول : دراسة ميدانية
Choosing effective leadership is one of the most important entrances to the development of university education, due to its importance in creating the appropriate atmosphere to achieve the goals that the university seeks. The university leader is responsible for strengthening the academic culture of the university, consolidating its values, spreading its vision and working hard to achieve its mission. This study aimed to develop a proposed scenario for selecting university leaders in public universities. The research problem is defined in the following main question: What is the proposed vision for selecting university leaders in Egyptian public universities? In order to answer this question, the research relies on the descriptive approach as a basic approach in addressing the research axes in order to identify the research problem and collect information and data that help determine it. Among the most important results it reached: 1) Relying on the foundations and criteria for selecting university leaders instead of favoritism and loyalty. 2) Spreading a culture of transparency in information as one of the criteria for selecting university leaders. 3) The selection of leaders should be on the basis of a marriage between election and appointment, and to be from within the university and not from outside.
