The study sought to present a proposed model for enhancing the professional identity of teachers using professional learning communities in Egypt. And the use of the descriptive method. The study focused on analyzing some contemporary global models to enhance the professional identity of teachers. The study presented the proposed Egyptian model for enhancing professional identity by using professional learning communities for teachers in the light of some contemporary global models. The results of the study confirmed the existence of a correlation based on impact and influence between the use of professional learning communities and the professional identity of teachers, which is easily and integratedly developed in all fields through these communities in public education schools in Egypt. They are two sides of the same coin; To develop and develop teachers professionally. The results of the study also confirmed that the philosophy and objectives of professional learning communities for teachers are consistent with the philosophy and objectives of developing their professional identity, which increases the effectiveness of teachers and schools. The more the goals and standards of learning societies are achieved, the greater the professional identity and standards will be achieved. (Published abstract)
