مدى فاعلية الإرشاد الجماعي في رفع مستوى التكيف الأكاديمي والتحصيل الدراسي للطالبات بمدرسة الحاجة مدينة الثانوية الحكومية بأمدرمان
The main objective of the study was to investigate the effects of counseling program on academic adaptation and academic achievement among the female students in secondary schools. In addition, the study also aimed to know the correlation between academic adaptation and academic achievement. The sample size was (71) female students from second class at Al-Haja Madina Secondary School. The researcher used experimental approach for both pre and post-measurement, as well as semi-experimental approach for only post measurement of the correlation between the two variables (academic adaptation and academic achievement). The selected sample divided into two groups the first was the experimental and the second was the control group. The research tools included Academic Adaptation Measurement by Henry Board, routine examinations set by the school for measuring academic achievement, a questionnaire about counseling needs of the students and counseling program that prepared by the researcher. The researcher determined a group of variables, which statistically adjusted to ensure the balance between the experimental and control group, these variables included age, birth order, educational of the father, educational level of the mother and family size. T-test for two independent samples, Pearson and coefficient factor were used for data analysis. The results showed statistically significant differences in the rising of academic adaptation among the control group, no statistical significance for academic output and positive correlation between academic adaptation and academic achievement.
