This research aims to identify the necessary skills for fashion illustration as a primary and basic step towards fashion design. Then analyze these skills into exercises and behavioral performances. A list of those skills and drills have been prepared and presented to Fashion-design specialists. To make sure of the effectiveness of these drills in developing the skills of fashion illustration for specialized students, the drills were applied on a sample of 30 students of the second year of Home-economics department in Faculty of Specific Education- South Valley University-Academic year (2017-2018). The researcher used the descriptive approach in the theoretical framework, the collection of the required data and the analysis of skills, in addition to the experimental method in the application on the sample search. The results of the statistical analysis revealed statistically significant differences between the student grades in the pre-test and post-test in both achievement test and skills test in favor of the post-test, and statistically significant differences between the grades of the students in the pre-test and post-test in the achievement test for Manikan drawing in favor of the post-test, and statistically significant differences between the average grades of students in the pre-test and post-test in sketching in favor of the post-test.
