تقويم مشروع تطوير نظم وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بجامعة طنطا في ضوء أهدافه وتحسينه باستخدام عمليات إدارة المشروعات
The current research aims to: Evaluating the project of developing information systems and technology at Tanta University in the light of its objectives; In order to know the pros and cons of the project; And suggestions for improvement in the light of the project management approach. The field study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which are that: 1) The degree of achievement of the information systems and Technology Development Project at Tanta University, both in terms of the objectives of the project, or its axes: (medium). 2) The most achieved goals of the information systems and technology development project at Tanta University from the point of view of the study sample members was (the application of modern patterns of education, such as e-learning) with a medium degree of achievement. The study sample had the goal of (students obtaining the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) as part of the graduation requirements) with a weak verification score. 3) The most realized axes of the information systems and Technology Development Project at Tanta University are (information network infrastructure) in the first place, followed by (electronic portal) and(training in the field of Information Technology) in the second place, followed by (e-learning) in the third place, then followed by (management information systems) in the fourth place, and finally (digital libraries) in the fifth and final rank. 4) There are no significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average grades of faculty members in the sample under research; about the degree of achievement of the information systems and Technology Development Project at Tanta University, both in terms of the objectives of the project, or its axes, due to the different nature of the faculty (theoretical, practical). While there are differences between them, they are due to the difference in the scientific degree (Professor, Assistant Professor, teacher), in favor of the category of teacher. The research concluded that: among the most prominent advantages of the project to develop information systems and technology at Tanta University, are the following: The application of some modern patterns of education, such as: eLearning, the existence of an educational channel for Tanta University; To broadcast electronic lectures, activate electronic books, electronic collection of all dues and financial fees to all university employees, and provide some electronic services to faculty members and students; Through the university's electronic portal, there are approved and activated training programs and plans for faculty members and academic leaders, and a list of trainees. The research also found that: among the most prominent disadvantages of the information systems and Technology Development Project at Tanta University are the following: weak internet, weak automation of administrative work, weak production and marketing of electronic courses, weak development and mechanization of evaluation and examination systems at various faculties of the University, weak activation of the electronic mechanization system, indexing and electronic inventory of the contents of the libraries of the faculties of the University, weak activation of the electronic portal of the University and its faculties in various foreign languages, weak financial support and technological equipment for training. The research also reached a set of proposals to improve the information systems and Technology Development Project at Tanta University in light of the project management. (Published abstract)
