This study aimed to reveal the role of school principals in Mafraq Education in providing the requirements of the smart school and its relationship to institutional excellence from the point of view of teachers. for breeding the Mafraq strait, which was chosen randomly. For the purposes of the study, a two-axis questionnaire was prepared. The first axis related to the requirements of the smart school consisted of (37) items distributed over three areas: strategic requirements, organizational requirements, and qualitative requirements. As for the second axis of the questionnaire, it deals with institutional excellence among school principals from the point of view of teachers, and it consists of (30) items distributed over three areas: leadership excellence, human excellence, and service excellence. The study concluded that the study individuals' estimates of the degree of availability of the requirements of the smart school and the level of institutional excellence came with a high degree. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the respondents' estimates of the degree of availability of the requirements of the smart school and the level of institutional excellence in schools from the point of view of teachers, due to the variables of gender, educational qualification and years of experience. The results showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the availability of smart school requirements and institutional excellence. In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations. (Author’s abstract)
