This study aimed to know the degree of application of the principles of total quality management and its relationship to organizational reputation from the point of view of academics and administrators at Al al-Bayt University, and to identify the impact of the variables (gender, job title, academic qualification, and years of teaching and administrative experience), where the study followed the descriptive-analytical approach whereby the development of A questionnaire and its distribution to the study sample consisting of 250 out of 1303 faculty and administrative staff members at Al al-Bayt University. The human and material environment, the organizational environment, the administrative leadership, evaluation and control, and the dimensions of organizational reputation, which are creativity, quality of services, social responsibility, and the indications of honesty and stability have been verified, The results showed that the degree of application of the principles of total quality management as determined by academics and administrators at Al al-Bayt University came to a medium degree overall, where the field of strategic planning ranked first and the field of material and human resources management ranked last, and the results also showed that the level of organizational reputation at Al al-Bayt University came to a medium degree overall. The field of creativity ranked first and the field of social responsibility ranked last, and the results revealed a positive correlation between the application of total quality management and organizational reputation at Al al-Bayt University. The study also concluded that there were no statistically significant differences for the effect of gender, academic qualification, years of experience and job title in the estimates of the study sample members about the degree of application of total quality management and the level of organizational reputation at Al al-Bayt University. The study recommended the necessity of holding training programs and workshops to spread the culture of total quality and introduce its fields, and to adopt a model for total quality management in higher education institutions based on a philosophy and concepts that the administrative and academic leaders at Al al-Bayt University believe in, and to provide workers in Jordanian universities with the latest standards and measures to maintain organizational reputation.
