The study aimed to identify the degree of inclusion of mathematical thinking skills in the content of the mathematics textbook developed for the sixth basic grade, and to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher employed the analytical descriptive approach, where he developed a tool to analyze the content in the light of mathematical thinking skills, namely: induction that includes (generalization, pattern search), conclusion, expression by symbols, mathematical proof, formal or formal logical thinking, reasoning and justification (causality), and solving the mathematical problem (verbal), The researcher analyzed the mathematics book developed for the sixth grade (in its first and second parts) after confirming the sincerity and stability of the tool, and The results showed that the skill of deduction came in first place with a high degree and constituted the highest percentage among the mathematical thinking skills with a percentage of (42.8%), followed in second place by the skill of reasoning and justification (causality) and the skill of solving the mathematical problem (speech) with a medium degree and with close percentages, which are respectively (16.4%, 15.4%), while in third place came the skill of generalization with a low degree and a percentage of (9.1%), and in fourth place came the skill of formal logical thinking. Or formal with a low degree and a percentage of (7.2%), and in last place came both the skill of expressing symbols and the skill of searching for the pattern with a low degree and with close percentages, which are respectively (5.1%, 4%), while the skill of mathematical proof did not get any repetitions in the mathematics book developed for the sixth grade in its first and second parts.
