This study aimed to identify the degree of inclusion of life skills in the sixth-grade vocational education textbook in Jordan using the content analysis approach. A list of life skills required to be included in the sixth-grade vocational education textbook was determined. The list included (38) sub-skills. The study showed that the total repetitions of life skills in the vocational education textbook amounted (324) recurrences distributed in to five main life skills, and environmental skills were more frequent with a percentage of (31,34). Manual skills came in second place with a percentage of (24.69), health skills came with a percentage of (22.8), while nutrition skills came with a percentage of (12.76), while traffic skills came with a percentage of (8.03). While environmental skills received a high percentage and traffic skills a low percentage. The study recommended the necessity of harmonizing the various life skills when preparing and writing the curriculum and textbooks in the field of vocational education. (Author’s abstract)
