Educators are interested in choosing the appropriate teaching methods to teach their students to suit their thinking and culture, unlike what was old in acquiring information only, but rather it has developed to improve students’ ability to innovate and create and rely on their own resources. And pictures and drawings, as it works to organize educational content in a non-linear and branched manner, and out of the keenness of music education specialists on developments in the field, we find many diverse studies that have used mental maps, some of which are in teaching the piano, in teaching Eastern Arabic maqam, and in developing auditory attention, and intelligence skills. Emotional, the researcher noticed the importance of employing to identify the effect of using mental maps in teaching school chants to students of educational qualification at Sultan Qaboos University, and the researcher used the semi-experimental approach, and the sample consisted of 13 students of educational qualification. From the previous studies related to the topic of the research, as well as the mental map, and the presentation of the implemented teaching sessions, The results resulted in verifying the study's questions, and the study concluded with recommendations, then references.
