In recent decades, international organizations have built large-scale international performance-based assessments, and with the recent rise of East Asian and European students in “the Program for International Student Assessment" (PISA) scores, it has become important to understand the impact of education on a country's overall economic performance, including their level of competitiveness; Whereas East Asian and European countries now show steady growth in PISA scores, which subsequently shifted the world's attention to East Asia and Europe, the current research aimed to benefit from the experiences of: China, Norway, and Japan; To achieve the competitive advantage of basic education schools in Egypt, enabling the state to benefit from the results of participation in international assessment tests. Presenting a set of proposed measures to achieve the competitive advantage of basic education schools in Egypt, in a way that enables the state to benefit from the results of participation in international assessment tests, in light of the cultural context of the Egyptian society.
