This study aimed to recognize the degree of the quality and accountability in the ministry of education practicing to its role and its relation in achieving the goals of the strategic plan of the ministry, this study was applied on public schools principals in Marka education directorate. To achieve the goals of this study, the researcher adapted the descriptive correlational method, as she prepared a questionnaire consisted of (42) questions distributed over two domains: The first one: (20) questions to measure the quality and accountability tasks, The other one: (22) questions about the goals of the strategy if ministry of education, The study community consists of (140) male and female principals. The study showed that the degree of quality and accountability practicing its role from the perspective of public schools' principals in all was (average) rate. Furthermore, the results showed that the efficiency degree of the quality and accountability practicing its role from the perspective of public schools’ principals in all was (average) rate. The results also came out with appearing of statistically significant differences about the great end of the degree of the quality and accountability in the ministry of education practicing its role is referred to sex variable, and the differences were in females favor. The results showed also disappearing of statistically significant differences about the great end of the method of the degree of the quality and accountability in the ministry of education practicing to its role, is referred to qualification variable, and years of experience variable. Also, the results showed disappearing of statistically significant differences about the great end of the method of the degree of the efficiency of quality and accountability unit in the ministry of education in achieving the strategic plans goals is referred to sex variable, and years of experience variable. Likewise, the results showed appearing of statistically significant differences about the great end of the method of degree of the efficiency of quality and accountability in the ministry of education in achieving the strategic plan goals, is referred to qualification variable. At last the results showed that there is a statistically positive relation among the study variables. (Author’s abstract)
