درجة ممارسة القادة الأكاديميين والإداريين في جامعة آل البيت لإدارة التغييـر وعلاقتها بالتميز التنظيمي
This study aimed to identify the extent to which academic and administrative leaders at Al al-Bayt University practice change management and its relationship to organizational excellence from the points of view of employees working at the university. The study population consisted of the administrative and academic bodies, their number is (1121), according to the statistics of Al al-Bayt University 2021/2022. The study sample was chosen in a simple random way, and it consisted of (146) administrative and academic employees. To achieve the study’s objectives, the correlative survey descriptive method was used, and a questionnaire was developed and used as a tool for data collection after its validity and reliability had been verified. The results showed that the degree of practicing change management by academic and administrative leaders at Al al-Bayt University was high, and the level of organizational excellence from the points of view of faculty members and administrators at Al al-Bayt University was high, too. The results also revealed a positive,statistically significant relationship between the degree of practicing change management by academic and administrative leaders at Al al-Bayt University and the level of organizational excellence. Also, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the participants’ responses on the degree of practicing change management by academic and administrative leaders at Al al-Bayt University and the level of organizational excellence due to the variables: (gender, qualification, and experience). In light of the study results, a set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which were: Preserving change and organizational excellence by providing an opportunity for employees to participate in the change process because of its administrative, organizational, profitability and competitive benefits that ultimately aim to improve the university’s performance in all fields, and encouraging employees to perform outstandingly by raising their awareness of the importance of excellence through training courses, lectures and workshops.
