The study aimed to identify the effect of using a strategy based on the theory of TRIZ in the development of mathematical thinking among ninth grade students compared to the traditional teaching method, and the study followed the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design, and the study sample consisted of (65) female students of the ninth grade distributed into two groups: An experimental group consisting of (33) students and the other control group consisting of (32) students, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the study tool were prepared, which was a test for mathematical thinking and detected from the validity, The results of the study showed a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the test of total dimensional mathematical thinking and its sub-skill in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, the study recommended employing the teaching strategy based on Triz theory in teaching mathematics at different educational levels. (Author’s abstract)
