To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used, represented by the (content analysis) method, due to its relevance to the nature and objectives of the study. The analysis included all the visual forms included in the newly developed tenth grade earth and environmental sciences book in Jordan, in its two parts for the academic year 2021/2022, which include (pictures, shapes, charts, graphs, colored graphics, maps), and it amounted to (122) vocab, In order to find out the degree to which students acquire visual thinking skills, the study tool was applied to a sample of (75) students from the tenth grade students. The two study tools were prepared, which consisted of: a content analysis card, and a test of visual thinking skills, and their validity and reliability were verified. The results of the study showed that the degree of inclusion of visual thinking skills as a whole came to a medium degree, with a percentage of (57.25%), while the degree of inclusion of the skill of recognizing the visual form and the skill of linking relationships in the visual form with a high degree of inclusion, while the rest of the skills came with a medium degree of inclusion, and the results also showed that the arithmetic mean for testing students' visual thinking skills is less than the educationally acceptable arithmetic mean.
