This study aimed at investigating the degree of functioning Arabic language teachers persuasive argumentative written skills in teaching compositions from their point of view. To achieve the purpose of the study, the survey analytical method was used. The sample of the study comprised 82 male and female Arabic Language Teachers. The study followed the descriptive survey method. The instrument of the study comprised 31 items distributed into 4 domains; the first, the basics of supporting claims which consisted of 8 items, the second; the assumptions supporting the idea that consisted of 6 domains, the third; evaluation of puzzles persuasively domain consisted of 8 items, the fourth; the domain of association between the Basics, assumptions and puzzles evaluation of 8 items. The study revealed many results notably; the degree of functioning Arabic language teachers persuasive argumentative written skills in teaching compositions from their point of view was moderate. Also, there were statistically significant differences due to the qualification in favor of Bachelors' holders. As well as there were no statistically significant differences due to sex. Also there were no statistically significant differences due experience. The study proposed some recommendations; Arabic Language Teachers should be aware of Writing persuasive Argumentative skills and taking it into consideration in selecting Arabic Written compositions and including the Arabic Language Teachers' guidelines of the new strategies of teaching modern compositions specified in Teaching argumentative topics.
