The aim of the research is to identify the reality of the basic education schools role in raising awareness of the green economy in Dakahlia Governorate, and to reach the most prominent proposals to activate the role of basic education schools in raising awareness of the green economy in Dakahlia Governorate. Their number is (886) male and female teachers, and the research ended with formulating a set of proposals to activate the role of basic education schools in raising awareness of the green economy, including: Issuing legislation according to which schools are granted financial support to support the green economy, and in this context a fund can be established in the school funded by economic sectors as a sector energy, industry, environment and trade, including the requirements of the green economy and green technology within the criteria for accrediting the relevant educational institutions, making the green economy a major dimension in the school’s vision and mission, and reconsidering the philosophy and objectives of Egyptian basic education, so that the requirements of the green economy are emphasized, and environmental problems are studied. Putting them on the map of educational priorities, and taking care to address green environmental issues R in the school radio. (Published abstract)
