The study aimed to identify the obstacles of applying the criteria for programmatic accreditation in the Faculty of Education at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and ways to overcome them. The researcher used the descriptive survey approach, and the study community consisted of all (168) faculty members of the Faculty of Education of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and a random sample of (117) faculty members was taken with a percentage of (69.6%) from the original study community. Farther, the questionnaire was used as a tool of the study. The study concluded the following results: 1) The individual consent of the study sample with a degree of "Agree" response to the personal constrains that limit applying the programmatic accreditation criteria in the Faculty of Education came with an average score of (3.64, out of 5).2) To the administrative constrains that limit applying the programmatic accreditation criteria in the Faculty of Education came with an average score of (3.58, out of 5).
