فعالية برنامج تدريبي باستخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لتنمية الوعي بالتنوع الثقافي للمراهقين ذوي الإعاقة السمعية
Aim of study was to enhance cultural diversity awareness through a training program uses a social media in adolescents with hearing impairment. The participants in this study included 14 adolescents with hearing impairment from Al-Amal School for the deaf, West of Zagazig education zone, who have accounts on Facebook. The participants were divided into two groups: the experimental (n = 7), the control (n = 7) their ages were between 15 and 19 years, were selected according to their records which exists in the school in terms of the level of intelligence, age, the social and economic levels. The researchers used the tools; Data collection form adolescents with hearing impairment about using social networking sites, scale of cultural diversity awareness, and a training program based on the use of Facebook. Results showed that: 1) There were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group members and those of the control one in the post test of awareness of cultural diversity in favor of the experimental group. 2) There were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group members in the pre-test and the post test of awareness of cultural diversity in favor of the post-test. 3) There were no statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group members in the post-test and the longitudinal (follow up).
