The research aims at examine the effect of the interaction of the place of residence and the path on the psychological resilience with special education students, and examine the differences between high and low psychological in each of the neuroticism, self-compassion and affective styles, and verify the existence of correlation relationships between psychological resilience and each of the neuroticism, self-compassion and affective styles and determine the extent of the contribution of scores neuroticism, self-compassion and affective styles in explaining scores of special education students in the dimensions of psychological resilience, and verify the effectiveness of behavioral cognitive program in reducing the level of neuroticism among students of the Department of Special Education. The basic the sample consisted of (298) student at the department of special education, faculty of education, University of Taif, the path (the general program, learning disabilities, intellectual handicap), and consisted of the experimental sample and control sample from (20) student. The study included the following Instruments: psychological resilience scale by (researcher), and neuroticism scale by (researcher), and the self-compassion scale, and the affective styles scale. The study resulted in the following findings: There are not significant differences in psychological resilience due to the place of residence and the path and the interaction between them, There are statistically significant differences between high and low psychological resilience in each of the neuroticism, self-compassion and affective styles dimensions, there are statistically significant negative correlation between neuroticism dimensions and psychological resilience dimension, exception of dimension of impulsivity with adaption, and varied correlation between the dimensions of self-compassion and psychological resilience, between affective styles and Psychological resilience, a statistically significant negative correlation between the total score of psychological resilience and each of the neuroticism, a statistically significant positive correlation between the total score of psychological resilience and each of self-compassion, dimensions of affective styles. Contribute Adjustment, Self-consciousness, Self-Judgment, depression, Mindfulness rates are statistically significant in dimension of Achievement Motivation, Contribute Adjustment, Self-consciousness, depression rates are statistically significant in social support, Contribute Adjustment, depression, Self-Judgment rates are statistically significant in Adaptability, Contribute Self-consciousness, Adjustment, depression rates are statistically significant in Religious and Value Structure, the effectiveness of the program CBT in reducing neuroticism disorder among students of the experimental group and the continuation of these results during the follow-up period (a month and a half after the end of the program).
