This research paper dealt with the future professional, psychological and technical roles of teachers in light of the challenges of emergency education and pandemics, especially the Corona crisis and the opportunities for distance education and learning, and emergency education, and its effects, including an introduction to the subject, and this research paper tried to answer these questions: 1) What are the teaching/ learning challenges posed by emergency and pandemic education for teachers? 2) What are the new research directions for virtual teaching and emergency education? 3) What are the future professional roles of teachers in light of emergency and pandemic education? The paper provided answers to these questions, represented by presenting the teaching/learning challenges posed by emergency and pandemic education for teachers, as well as new research directions for virtual teaching and emergency education, and by presenting a number of roles, in every aspect of the future "professional, psychological and technical" roles of teachers, accompanied by an explanation.
