This study aimed to detect the role of the Saudi Digital Library in the development of educational scientific research among teacher researchers in public education in Tabuk city from male and female teachers` viewpoint, and to detect the differences in their responses according to: gender, academic qualification, and having computer skills variables. To achieve this descriptive survey methodology was used and a questionnaire as an instrument to collect data. The sample of the study consisted of (255) male and female teachers in Tabuk city. The results of the study showed that the role of the Saudi Digital Library in the development of educational scientific research in public education in Tabuk city came at a high level with a mean of (4.03). Also, the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to (gender and academic qualification) between the responses of the study sample about the role of the Saudi Digital Library in the development of educational scientific research in public education in Tabuk city, while the results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to having computer skills variable between the responses of the study sample about the role of the Saudi Digital Library in the development of educational scientific research in public education in Tabuk city in favor of male and female teachers having computer skills. The study recommended the following: holding training courses on methods of using databases for male and female teachers in training centers of education departments in the Tabuk region and in all regions of the Kingdom and that the scientific research courses for students in Saudi universities should include an introductory briefing on how to benefit from the services of the Saudi Digital Library.
