This study aimed to identify the degree of teaching practice in the light of principles of learning and teaching theories among teachers of science and computer in Al-Dhehar District- Ibb Governorate. To achieve this, the study adopted the descriptive analytical method and used the questionnaire to collect data from the study sample which consisted of 74 science and computer teachers. The questionnaire consisted of 37 items, covering 4 sub-areas related to learning principles: (Behaviorism Theory, Constructivism Theory, Human Theory, and Brain-Based Learning Theory). After using appropriate statistical techniques, the study results revealed that: 1) the degree of teaching practice in the light of principles of four learning and instruction theories was generally high. 2) There were no statistically significant differences between means of teaching practice in the light of principles of learning and instruction theories attributed to the specialization or teaching experience, 3) whereas there were statistically significant differences between the means of teaching practice attributed to gender in favor of female teachers. The study concluded that there is a need for teachers to acquire knowledge of learning and instruction theories, and to receive training on the strategies for using these principles.
