The increasing size of the environmental problems in the world today require more attention to this environment and more individual and collective efforts to protect and preserve the balance, and It was the most prominent efforts pursued by the state and government is to increase attention to environmental education and the inclusion of issues and topics of environment in the school curricula so as indoctrination of environmental conservation values in the hearts of young people from an early age, This is also what care about it the school legislator in Algeria; where many of the topics and issues related to the environment of the educational curriculum in the various phases included. Keen to indoctrination environmental conservation values and care for future generations. The material civic education is one of those educational materials through which tried the school legislator to the formation of the individual configuration to be able to interact positively with social and environmental surroundings and to devote the proper environmental behavior, and this is what this study aimed at highlighting the flying of a key question that: What are the environmental issues included in the book of civic education in the primary phase of the Algerian school? Branching to this question four sub-questions are: 1) What is the image of the ecosystem in the book of civic education in the primary phase of the Algerian school? 2) What are the environmental pollution problems contained in the book of civic education in the Algerian school? 3) What are the forms of the use of natural environmental resources in the book of civic education in the primary phase of the Algerian school? 4) What is the content concerning the protection of Environment in the book of civic education in the primary phase in the Algerian school? Researcher chose descriptive analytical approach in this study using content analysis (content), where he analyzes the content of books Civic Education in Primary stage in Algerian schools using content analysis tool, which included 38 environmental issue. The study found a number of results was the following: 1) Picture ecosystem in the books of civic education in the primary school in the Algerian school was a positive image, where varied topics and issues related to the ecosystem addressed by these textbooks, such as ecosystem components, Man's relationship to its environment, the types of environments, so it has concluded that books of civic education in Algerian schools to give students the ability to recognize the various elements and parts of the ecosystem in which they live. 2) Books of civic education for the primary stage of the Algerian school, which included a lot of topics relevant to the problems of environmental pollution, But educational legislator in Algeria did not give the problem of soil pollution space in the books of civic education except the book of second year, which included a weak signal to this environmental problem. 3) Books of civic education at the primary school in the Algerian Contained many forms of use of natural and environmental resources, Such as energy use and water use and uses of natural gas and oil, as well as the depletion of animals, plants and soil, and the presence of all these issues by weak. 4) Books in of civic education Primary stage in the Algerian school has included a number of topics related to environmental protection in different proportions from a book to another, These topics represented in: combating environmental pollution, preserve the beauty of the environment, participate in environmental activities, waste recycling, and combating desertification, rationalizing the consumption of water, electricity and gas, and the efforts of scientists in environmental protection, and preservation of forests, parks and green spaces and maintain the cleanliness of the beaches, and hygiene General.
