تطوير مناهج الرياضيات للمرحلة الثانوية بالجمهورية اليمنية وفق مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين
This research is an attempt to develop Mathematics curricula of secondary schools according to the 21st century skills. In line with the objectives of this research, the researcher used the descriptive method in analyzing the Mathematics books of the scientific section of secondary schools in Yemen during the academic year 2020-2021.The researcher prepared a code-list of the most important Mathematics skills in the twenty-first century and analyzed the content of Mathematics books according to these skills, after securing its validity through a group of expertise. A training unit for the first, second, and third levels of secondary school according to these skills, were developed as a model Mathematics book should follow, using the relative weights and (One-way Anova) as statistical processing. Results revealed that the average of relative weight of skills reached 37.46, and 47.91, and 47.5 in sequential order which is considered very low proportion. Many subsequent indices did not appear; indicating their negligence in Mathematics books as required. No statistically significant differences regarding the availability of the twenty-first century skills in Mathematics curricula; to be attributed to the study levels, were found. (Published abstract)
