معتقدات تعلم اللغة العربية لدى المتعلمين الناطقين بغيرها في الأردن وعلاقتها بالنوع الإجتماعي
This study aims to explore Arabic language learning beliefs among nonnative speakers learners in Jordan, and whether their beliefs would differ according to the variable of gender.“Howartiz” Beliefs about Language Learning Inventory (BALLI, 1987) was used. The inventory consisted of 34 items covering five domains; foreign language aptitude, difficulty of foreign language, nature of language learning, learning and communication strategies, and motivation and expectations. The sample of the study consisted of 110 non- native speakers learners enrolled in Al Al-Bayt University in the academic year 2018-2019. Results of the study revealed that the Arabic language learning beliefs among non-native speakers’ learners are strong, and their beliefs do not differ according to their gender. (Published abstract)
