The study aims to identify the practice level of intellectual property and entrepreneurship monitor in Saudi government universities; as SWOT analysis. The study adopted the analytical descriptive method. The sample consisted of 682 teaching staff at King Khalid University, Taibah University, and Imam Abdurrahman bin Faisal University. Results showed that the general average of the reality axes of intellectual property and entrepreneurship in government universities in Saudi Arabia was 3.50, the general average of the challenges axis is 2.98 and the development opportunities axes comprised of 3.89. Results, also, showed that, the lack of incentives and rewards for researchers and the limited concept of innovation-based education and intellectual property in most disciplines, as well as the lack of clear vision of (IP) and innovation reflected the most important challenges of intellectual property and entrepreneurship in Saudi government universities. Results, also, showed that there are significant differences in the status of the reality practice of individual ownership and entrepreneurship due to the gender variable. There are also significant differences in the challenges of intellectual property, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for developing intellectual property and entrepreneurship in Saudi government universities due to the job name.
