This theoretical analysis aims to identify the social dimensions of the process of integrating and rehabilitating people with special needs, that based on the premise that the integration is the process that aims to integrate people with special needs into the social life of their community, where the process starts by incorporating them into regular educational processes until they learn the most necessary skills to perform their different social roles, which is a continuous process throughout various stages of their ages until they achieved social adoption according to their capabilities and requirements. Among the essential results reached is that integration is a societal process that requires the convergence of many social systems to achieve the full integration of people with special needs. Also, considering them as an essential category of any society and must be taken into account when developing legislation and implementing social policies. Moreover, while stressing on the importance of qualifying the families of the people with special needs to play an active role in the social inclusion process for their children. Also, it should always take into account the incidence and evaluation of the disability, a process that is influenced by the culture of society and the nature of social life. (Published abstract)
