This study aimed to identify the role of school activities programs in developing the value of citizenship among the students in Batinah South Governorate from the perspective of the students themselves in the Sultanate of Oman. As well as, it seeks to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences between the averages. The research used a descriptive survey approach and designed a questionnaire consisting of 30 items which distributed into three domains (cognitive, skills and emotional). Additionally, this study was applied to 530 students and were chosen by an available approach. Subsequently, arithmetic averages and standard deviations were extracted. The results of the study revealed the role of school activities programs in developing the value of citizenship among the students, which was high. Additionally, the result showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 from the perspective of the students due to the gender variable. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance 0.05 in favor of classes (5-7). The overall findings recommend that: implementing school activities programs through the implementation of awareness programs for the students about the tourist sites. (Published abstract)
