The current research aimed to know the effectiveness of a program in the sciences of the Qur’an based on the contemplative teaching of Qur’anic proverbs to develop some comprehension skills of the Qur’an text for students of the second year, Division of Arabic Language at the College of Education, where the research problem is that there is a weakness among students of the second year, Division of Arabic Language, College of Education, in comprehension skills The Qur’anic text, and this has been confirmed by some educational studies and literature, and the results of the exploratory study of the skills of understanding the Qur’an text that was applied to a sample of students of the second year of the Arabic Language Division. The research tools were represented in the questionnaire of skills to understand the Qur’anic text, the test of skills to understand the Qur’anic text, and the experimental treatment subject. The program, which has been classified into the student’s book and the professor’s guide. The research found that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.001) between the mean scores of the students of the second year division of Arabic language in the pre and post measurements to test the skills of understanding the Qur’anic text as a whole and its subcomponents separately in favor of the post measurement, and this explained the effectiveness of the program in developing comprehension skills. The Quranic text, and accordingly the recommendations and the proposed research were presented in light of the findings of the research. (Published abstract)
