تضمين محاور وأولويات رؤية عمان 2040 في مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر المعلمين والخبراء
The study aims at investigating social studies teachers’ and experts’ views about the inclusion of Oman vision 2040 domains and priorities in social studies curriculum. A questionnaire consisted of 83 items divided into five domains was applied to 300 individuals. The results show high support to reasons of developing social studies curriculum in the light of the vision. It also reveals that the domain of sustainable environment has received the highest support. Moreover, it indicates that sustainable environment, education, learning, scientific research, national capabilities and citizenship, identity and national heritage and culture to be the highest ranked priorities. It also shows a significant difference in their views based on gender and job. (Author’s abstract)
