أثر برنامج تدريبي قائم على الروبوت التعليمي في بناء الشخصية عند طلبة الصف التاسع في مدارس الملك عبد الله الثاني للتميز
This study aimed at identifying the effect of a training program based on the educational robot in building the personality of the ninth graders in King Abdullah II schools for excellence. The study followed a quasi-experimental method. The study population comprised all the ninth graders in King Abdullah II schools for excellence in Zarqa (n=105) male and female students, who were (45) male and (60) female students. A developed version of (Cattell) personality test was applied on them, which was designed depending on the trait theory and factorial analysis method, which aimed at measuring the basic personality traits (openness, extroversion, group respect, self-confidence and innovation). The researcher verified the validity and reliability of the test. The results showed statistically significant differences between the pre and post means (positively for all the traits) in favor of post means after the students passed the educational robot program. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in means that could be attributed to gender, in terms of the traits of reservation versus openness; introversion versus extroversion; and traditional versus innovative. The results further showed statistically significant differences in the means that are ascribed to the gender in terms of the trait of indifference versus the ego strength and group respect; and the trait of self-confidence versus the anxiety, which were in favor of the female students. Based on these results, the study recommended the need for applying the educational robot program in all the schools due to its importance in building the student's personality in addition the scientific benefits that the program provides.
