The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of WebQuest in developing critical thinking skills among ninth grade students in the subject of geography. Schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education and Private Education, in the AL-Jahmiah district, and randomly distributed the subjects of the study into two groups: the experimental group, which included (20) male and female students, and the control group, which included (20) male and female students. To achieve the objective of the study, a tool was developed to measure critical thinking skills. Its validity and reliability were confirmed. The study found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the scores of ninth grade students on the test of critical thinking skills according to the teaching method in favor of WebQuest. of gender and the interaction between teaching method and gender. Based on the results of the study, it was recommended to provide training courses and workshops for teachers to apply the knowledge-journey strategy in the educational process in order to develop their technological skills and develop their knowledge about WebQuest, and to encourage teachers to employ WebQuest as supportive activities for different types of courses.
