The aim of the current research is to study the effectiveness of artistic activities in developing the self-confidence of the kindergarten child, and to achieve this goal a scale was made to measure the self-confidence of the kindergarten child and a program of artistic activities to develop his self-confidence, and the research sample included a group of kindergarten children consisting of (16). A boy and a girl as one experimental group from the Kindergarten of Modern Girl School in the village of Manshiyat Sultan, Menouf Center, Menoufia Governorate, their ages ranged between (4-6) years, who were deliberately chosen for those who have a lower level of self-confidence. After applying the research tools, the Wilcoxon (z) test was used for the two interrelated groups (where the methods of inferential statistics were used because the conditions for applying the (t) test were not met due to the small size of the sample), and the results resulted in differences between the degrees of the two applications and that these differences reach a level The required statistical significance, which means that the value of z is statistically significant at the level of 0.01 in favor of the dimensional application for the scale as a whole and for each of its sub-dimensions. In light of the previous results, some recommendations and suggestions were presented, including: the need to pay attention to the development of self-confidence in the child, which is a basic feature of personality, and the need to pay attention to early detection of the level of self-confidence in kindergarten children, and work to prepare standardized measures to measure the self-confidence of a kindergarten child.
