The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a program for developing reading skills in children with Irlen syndrome who use color transparencies and its impact on some psychological variables they have in the city of Banha - the National Guard region, and the research sample consisted of the current research sample of (32) students (13) males, (19) females, with an average age of (11.5) years, of primary sixth-grade pupils who suffer from Irlen Syndrome and reading problems such as slow reading and difficulty in reading comprehension, they were chosen in an intentional way, who used regular colored Irlen transparencies. One group, and three pre- post- and follow-up tests. The Irlen Reading Perceptual Scale (IRPS) was used Preparation: Helen Irlen (1988), for the detection of sufferers of Irlen syndrome; The two scales of reading skills (reading speed and reading comprehension) were used before and after the reading skills development program to find out the program’s ability to develop reading skills among the research sample. The results found that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research sample in the pre and post application in reading speed, and in favor of the post application among students with Irlen syndrome, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research sample in the pre and post application in understanding Reading, and for the benefit of post application in pupils suffering from Irlen Syndrome.
