أنماط الشخصية وبعض المتغيرات الديموجرافية لدى عينة من المعلمين مرتفعي ومنخفضي الكفاءة المهنية
The current study aimed to reveal personality patterns and specific demographic variables for a sample of 220 teachers with high and low professional competence (97 males-123 females) working in educational stages and different specializations in public and private schools in Menoufia governorate; their ages ranged from 22 to 58 with a mean (40.50) and a standard deviation (9.47), their years of experience ranged from (1.5-29) year with a mean (14.34) and a standard deviation (7.74) using the personality types scale of Myers Briggers (translated by safaa Elassar; 1997) and Professional competence scale (prepared by the Researcher. The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences between male and female teachers with high and low professional competence in most personality types, age, specialization and years of experience; while there are statistically significant differences between male and female teachers in the total score on professional competency scale in favor of male teachers.
