This study aimed to identify the possibility of applying of academic accreditation standards in the secondary school in the north area of Riyadh in light of the current potential and its reality. Identify the difficulties that may face the application of academic accreditation standards in the secondary school system in the north area of Riyadh. The descriptive survey methodology is used in the study. The study community includes all principals of secondary schools in the north area of Riyadh, totaling (78), by (49), female director, and (29) director. The most appropriate tool to achieve the objectives is “questionnaire” as well as to identify the difficulties facing the application of academic accreditation system in the secondary school in the north of Riyadh area. The study found many of the results that can be summarized as follows that there is a fair degree of approval of the study sample on the possibility of applying the vision, mission standard and objectives in secondary schools in the north area of Riyadh. That there is a fair degree of approval among the study sample about the possibility of applying the standard of leadership and organization in secondary schools in the north area of Riyadh. That there is a fair degree of approval among the study sample about the possibility of applying the learning and teaching standard in secondary schools in the north area of Riyadh. That there is a fair degree of approval among the study sample about the possibility of the application of equipment and learning environment standard. That there is a fair degree of approval among the study sample about the possibility of applying evaluation and calendar standard. That there is approval among the study sample about the possibility of applying academic accreditation standards. There is a fair degree of approval among the study sample about the difficulties facing the application of academic accreditation system. (Published abstract)
