الألكسيثيميا وإدمان الإنترنت لدى عينة من طلاب المدارس الثانوية
Study aims at examining the relationship between alexithymia and internet addiction, examining differences in alexithymia and internet addiction due to gender (males, females), secondary education (general (literary-scientific) and technical), examining differences between students of high and low degrees on alexithymia scale in internet Addiction. Sample consisted of (207), (86) males and (121) females, (mean=16.60±0.998). Stydy Tools: Toronto scale of alexithymia (Alaa Kafafi and Fouad AlDawash, 2011), internet addiction scale (by researcher). Study results: alexithymia was positively correlated with internet addiction (R=0.362), there were statistical significant differences between males and females in alexithymia in favor of females (t=2.88), there were statistical significant differences between males and females in internet addiction in favor of males (t=2.54), there were statistical significant differences in internet addiction between scientific, literary and technical secondary education in favor of literary and technical secondary students (t=4.998), no statistical significant differences were found between them in Alyxythemia, there were statistical differences in internet addiction in favor of high-level degrees of Alexithymia(t=2.36).
