The study aims to reveal cognitive behavioral therapy in improving the habits of the mind of autistic mothers and its effect on developing verbal communication for their children. Tools were used: The socioeconomic level scale (Prepared by Adel Al-Saeed AlBanna, 2010). Stanford Interstitial Scale - Fifth Image (Setup/ Mahmoud El-Sayed Abu ElNile, 2011). Autistic Child Scale (Setup/ Adel Abdullah Muhammad, 2008). A scale of mind habits, based on five habits of mind (Setup/ researcher). The verbal communication scale for the autistic child in the age group (6-8) years (Setup/ researcher). The proposed program for using behavior therapy to improve the mindsets of autistic mothers and its effect on developing verbal communication for their children (Setup/ researcher). The sample of the study includes (8) mothers of autistic children who are not in the exploratory group in special education centers, and also include (8) children of autistic children who are not exploratory in special education centers, and their time ranges between (6-8) years with Mean age (7.3375) a year and a Std. deviation (0.39619), and the intelligence rate ranges between (60-80) degrees and Mean intelligence (70.1250) degrees and a Std. deviation (4.51782), and at the socio-economic level of the family ranges between (60-70) degrees Mean socioeconomic level of the family (67.6250) degree and Std. deviation (5.15302). Results indicate cognitive behavioral therapy in improving the habits of the mind of autistic mothers and its effect on developing verbal communication for their children. (Published abstract)
