The study included the introduction and the importance of the research, which was an introduction to the subject of the study as well as the research problem, which the researchers found that the reality of psychological stress among students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra during the practical lesson of athletics activities for the first, second and fourth stages. The research also included identifying the impact of psychological stress during the practical lesson is not the power of athletics, as well as the imposition of research. The research included theoretical studies, where the study sample included 80 students in the college of physical education and sports sciences, university of one student for each stage and (20) students from the first stage of the pilot experiment. The research included the research methodology and its field procedures, as it used the descriptive approach to solve the research problem, as well as a detailed explanation of all the procedures that the researcher conducted to reach the results supported by dates for the period from 7/1/ 2021 AD until 9/2/2021 AD and a review of the tools used in the research as well as the statistical means used to reach the results. The research included presentation, discussion and analysis of the results. In this chapter, the two researchers reviewed the results they reached through the use of statistical methods presented in the form of tables and then discussed the results. As for the conclusions and recommendations of the research, they are in light of the results that the researchers reached, they deliberately summarized a number of conclusions, including: students of the second and fourth stages have the lowest percentage of the first stage with psychological tension and a number of recommendations, including: teachers take into account the psychological tension of students when performing exams: research problem: psychological tension among students in the academic stages to find out the best stage in this aspect research aims: 1) psychological stress among first, second and fourth stage students in athletics activities. 2) Comparing the psychological stress of the three stages in athletics activities. Research hypotheses: there are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stress between the academic levels in the college. (Published abstract)
