This study sought to identify the reality of the educational curricula adopted in Lebanon, and the extent to which these curricula keep pace with technology and development. The research aimed to study whether the educational curricula suitable to the needs of the labor market, in terms of the required specializations, empowering learners with competencies, skills and educational goals and providing them with scientific and practical expertise to meet the requirements of a productive economy. Thus, the research studied the extent the educational system plays its role in terms of providing society with scientific competencies that benefit the nation and citizens, and not overburden the Lebanese market with graduates who quickly turn into unemployed. The study also addressed the challenges facing the educational curricula in Lebanon, especially since the approved curricula have been in existence for nearly thirty years. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach to suit the research requirements, through a field study directed to the concerned authorities in developing, modifying and developing curricula (the Ministry of Education, the Educational Center for Research and Development, and educational researchers), regulations, laws, decrees and legislation that sponsor the organization of these Curricula, and through the studies available in this field. The study concludes with submitting proposals that would develop educational curricula in Lebanon, and subsequently develop the entire educational and educational system with presenting perceptions that address the gap between theoretical educational curricula and the requirements of the labor market.
