مسارات البحث التربوي حول مجانية التعليم وقضاياها في مصر في الفترة من 1987 م وحتى 2017 م : دراسة تحليلية
The present study aims to investigate the educational research paths to free education and its most significant issues. It aims to answer the following major question: What is the reality of the educational research paths in terms of (terminology, approaches, issues, and attitudes) to free education and its most significant issues from 1987 to 2017? The study adopted the descriptive approach as it examines a sample of the papers posted to Dar Almandumah during this period and the deductive and inductive approach to review the material and draw the relationships among its parts. It also utilized the historical approach to follow-up the educational policy and the published researches and studies in the defined period. The study concluded that the Egyptian policy regarding free education is volatile and related to the Minister's policy. There are gaps in the four defined research paths. Regarding the terminology, there are multiple perspectives regarding some terms, e.g. rationalization of free education. Thus, studies shall be conducted illustrating its concept, criteria, and regulations. In terms of the approaches, individualism is a major principle in the studies that adopt traditional approaches that may not offer real solutions, but they are limited to description and analysis. Therefore, the study suggests adhering to institutional research projects to provide creative solutions aiming to allocate the necessary funding. The attitude gaps include lack of impartiality in many studies that tend to validate the proposed perspective and neglecting the issue as they express opinions without solutions. In addition, there are issue gaps including lack of interest in the educational investment despite its importance in maintaining free education and providing a financial revenue to the state, school, and student, if planned. Only a few studies are interested in providing equivalent education. Accordingly, the study recommends that the attitude shall be towards making creative research suggestions for equivalent education. (Published abstract)
