The study aimed to develop an instructional unit using 3D graphic organizers in teaching the history and measuring its effect on improving H historical I imagination skills and self-organizing skills among Eighth Grade Primary during the academic year 2019/2020. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted a quasi- experimental approach as well as developing a unit using 3D graphic organizers and checking its validity and reliability, a scale of self-organizing skills consisting of (30) items was built, divided into three main skills: cognitive skills, and it has (9) items ,metacognition skills, and it has (5) items, and time management skills, and it has (16) items. Historical imagination skills test, which is composed of (15) questions of the type of pans was built, and study sample consisted of (160) male and female students from the eighth grade in the second Zarqa education directorate of the second Zarqa Region, where students were divided randomly into four groups, the first two experimental groups consisting of Females are (40) students, the second is males and they are (40) students, and two controlling groups: the first is composed of (40) female students, and the second is (40) male students. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05 ) In favor of the experimental group that studied the developed unit using graphic organizers Atheism dimensions compared to the control group, while it was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) due to the effect of sex and the interaction between them in all historical imagination test skills, as it was found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in a test historical imagination skills as a whole according to the gender variable in favor of males, and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in testing historical visualization skills according to the interaction between the group and sex in favor of males in the experimental group. The results also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) on skill levels Self-regulation (cognitive skills, skills beyond knowledge, skills and time management), depending on the interaction between the group and sex, and in favor of female experimental group. The study recommended the necessity of using three - dimensional graphic organizers in designing social studies topics and all other topics, and diversity in the use of modern technologies in the teaching of history and developing historical imagination and self-organizing skills among students, and the need to train teachers to use three - dimensional software, and how to prepare them to apply them effectively through holding training and qualifying courses for them at all educational levels, to know the effect of three-dimensional graphic organizers on other variables, and at different ages.
